The refreshed library interior was designed to be inclusive and engaging for a wide age range, with furniture thoughtfully selected to support users from children to adults. Colors and finishes were aligned with LA County’s branding, using clear visual cues—like age-specific signage and color zones—to help visitors easily navigate the space.

A circular floor design was introduced to subtly divide areas while adding movement and energy throughout. Coordinated wall and floor palettes clearly defined the adult, teen, and children’s sections, creating a cohesive yet distinct experience for each group.
